Scott spent the first 9 years of his life growing up in Seaford, Long Island. On April 12th, 1973 his parents packed up the family and moved them out west to Scottsdale, Arizona. “I had a fantastic childhood, growing up in the desert. My life was very simple and uncomplicated. It gave me the opportunity to use my imagination! My goal as a writer for young readers is to help them realize they are different, and the very difference is what's so perferct about the world. My message of diversity, lasting friendships, and teamwork is simple, but I believe it is a message young readers will take with them throughout their lives!"
Jennifer González was raised in Pennsylvania and upstate New York. She received her BFA from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. Jennifer's passion is spending time with her friends and family and bringing imagination to life through illustration. She currently Lives in Austin, Texas with her loving husband, two daughter's Elena and Evelyn, and dont forget her best friend, Lucy the dog!
